Polizeiruf 110 is a long-running German language detective television series. The first episode was broadcast 27 June 1971 in the German Democratic Republic, and after the dissolution of Fernsehen der DDR the series was picked up by ARD. It was originally created as a counterpart to the West German series Tatort, and quickly became a public favorite.

Opponents blame a conservative politician's rhetoric as the cause for her murder.

A psychiatrist is shot dead in a drive-in cinema parking lot in front of her seven-year-old daughter. At first, everything points to an escalated custody dispute, but detective Hanns von Meuffels notices inconsistencies and begins to investigate the case more closely. At the same time, the crisis in his relationship with his colleague Constanze Hermann increasingly distracts him. It is Hanns von Meuffels' 15th and final case.
