Season 3 • Episode 9
When Carmen attempts to steal several items having to do with military strategies, she is foiled several times by her new rival, the Tigress. Zack and Ivy pursue both thieves to the Tigress' hideout in Antarctica, where her true identity - and motives - are revealed.
Carmen's thefts all seem to follow a Wizard of Oz theme. While chasing after Carmen, Zack and Ivy discover that Carmen was an orphan, and her thefts relate to things she treasured in childhood.
Working with a Native Hawaiian detective, Aileen, Zack and Ivy finally capture Carmen, along with her henchwoman Hannah Lulu. After escaping, Carmen tries to teach Hannah the value of confidence over luck by stealing supposedly unlucky items around Hawai'i.
After the world's largest diamond is stolen, Zack and Ivy discover that one of Carmen's henchmen tried to double-cross her and keep the diamond for himself.
Carmen's recurring nightmare drives her to seek the help of Native American shamans to interpret it.
When Carmen reportedly dies in a plane crash, Zack and Ivy are compelled to compete against her henchpeople to inherit leadership of VILE.
Acme is puzzled when Carmen steals scale copies of landmarks rather than the real thing. Zack and Ivy discover that she's using them in a training facility for new henchpeople - so they pose as new recruits to try to track her down.
Carmen arrives in the year 2101, where she stops a heist of a powerful electromagnet. Zack and Ivy must prove that she is a thief, not a hero, against the wishes of the future Chief, who has forgotten them. They eventually learn her ultimate goal: to become the greatest thief of the past, present, and future.
Zack and Ivy escape from the future and follow Carmen to Rome. There, the detectives are captured and are sentenced to fight each other in the Coliseum games.
Carmen gives herself a Christmas present by kidnapping the Chief, unaware he has a virus that's attacking his memory. Zack and Ivy take advantage of the situation by posing as thieves, leaving Carmen and her henchmen clues to their next heist.
