Season 1 • Episode 1
Early 20th-century Kyoto. Kihachi witnesses the wonders of electricity with Seiroku. Four years later, alone and cynical, he meets a girl deep in prayer.
In a haze of incense, Yosuke storms into Kihachi's workshop and demands the Catalog — and his fiancée. But why does Inako have it in the first place?
Full of denial, Yosuke clashes with Kihachi. Later, Inako's sharp senses reveal a secret and her belief inspires Kihachi to recreate an invention.
Inako meets a grieving shop owner whose loss echoes her own. Fully believing in Kihachi's skills, she asks him to build an electric machine to help.
Kihachi's latest experiment catches the eye of a strange university graduate, who's convinced that it can help him prove his passion to his crush.
Yosuke challenges Kihachi and the gang to a music battle. With only Inako having musical experience, can they master electric instruments in a week?
On the day of Inako's engagement ceremony, Kihachi urges her to chase her dreams and helps her escape. Guided by Stuart's letter, they head for Shiga.
Before Kihachi can figure out how to fix the electric key, Kengo breaks down and confesses the secret he's been carrying for the past three years.
Kihachi makes a shocking decision to protect Inako, but she takes matters into her own hands. Yosuke reminisces about his first meeting with Seiroku.
Yosuke makes a critical discovery. After Inako and Kihachi clear up their misunderstanding, they help Kengo reconcile with Noriko using a shocking plan.
After Inako and Saki sneak into Yosuke's office to find clues about the Electric Brocade, Kihachi vanishes. Inako realizes that her father holds the key.
Inako and Kihachi throw themselves into pursuing their dreams. Determined to fulfill Seiroku's vision, Yosuke ropes Kihachi into a colossal project.
As the Electric Brain goes berserk, Kihachi, Inako and Yosuke confront their destinies. Who will stay stuck in the past or look towards the future?
